I’ll catch up shortly!
September 18, 2006 at 4:00 pm | In jewelry | 9 CommentsLater tonight I promise there will be some poetry so soul-lacerating that it will make up for my lateness. But for now, for NOW I have a task that I must ask for your help to complete. I need you all to take a peek at this image and tell me which font you like. I am having a hard time deciding which one to use for the new craft site and I could use a fresh set of eyes to help me out!! You can vote in a comment, or email me if you’re the shy type.

I like number five the best, and number two has that familiar eighties feel to it. I can’t put my finger on it but I’ve seen the font from #2 somewhere before. Its very rainbow bright, atari 5200-ish. Given my background in graffiti, #5 is my favorite.
Warning, here is where I am going to try and be funny. I was going to say, whatever you do don’t pick #7. But then I realised that it isnt exactly clear which one is #7. There are 9 fonts and 8 numbers. Sufficive to say I dont like the pac-man font at all. Maybe its because I am in Burqa-ville. Whenever I see a woman in one of those blue polyester ……..sheets. I am reminded of when Pac-man eats one of those power pellets and all of the ghosts turn blue. Afghanistan is in a giant dusty pac-man level.

Depends on what looks right with the rest of the design really. I like number 4 the best from a typographic point of view, but you just have to trust your eye!

Chubby Bunny? What made you pick that particular phrase? I’m mostly curious because of this news item from a few days ago:

“Later tonight I promise…” Need we inquire which night?
I keed. Hope you’re doing well, and allow me to just say, “Death to spambots, for they suck the donkey dick.”
Oh, and I’d chime in for the fifth font as well.
